Batman Begins

Martin Scorsese is known for his great movie making. Perhaps one of his most underrated movies is ‘The Departed’ starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon, and Jack Nicholson. The movie is based on a story of an undercover cop and a mole in the police force and their battle to take down the Irish Mob. The movie has some of the best plot twists and the performances are top notch.

Liam Neeson’s Ra’s al Ghul is intimidating, evil, and awesome in every way. Watching Liam usually play the protagonist, watching his villainous performance is pleasantly surprising.

Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe

He is loved for his courage, strength, and wisdom. He is good-natured and often serves as a bridge between the human and mystical worlds. Aslan is also seen as a symbol of hope, love and redemption. He is the protector of Narnia and its people. Aslan is the savior of Narnia, who ultimately vanquishes evil and brings peace to the land. Whether it is rescuing Edmund from the White Witch or saving the Pevensie children from being turned to stone, Aslan is always there to come to the rescue. He is a symbol of hope, courage and love and his presence always brings joy and happiness.

Taken

The Taken franchise is about a retired CIA agent, Bryan Mills (Liam Neeson), who is forced to fight back against a powerful criminal organization and save his daughter. The first installment, Taken, was released in 2008 and was an instant hit. The subsequent sequels, Taken 2 and Taken 3, released in 2012 and 2015 respectively, were also successful at the box office.

Taken is an action film starring Liam Neeson as Bryan Mills, an ex-CIA agent who goes berserk on the bad guys when they kidnap his daughter. If you watch the film, chances are that you would want to watch the sequel as well.  Liam’s phone scene is one of the most iconic moments when he says, “I will find you, and I will kill you”. If you are an OG Liam fan, chances are that you have already heard this dialogue or memorized the whole speech. Even people who are not hardcore fans know about the dialogue.

Darkman

Darkman is an underrated thriller that came before, well before Batman Begins and Taken. The Darkman trilogy was written and co-directed by Sam Raimi. It was his first superhero project. Even 32 years back, Liam Neeson was doing helicopter chases and action-filled fights. There are three movies from the sequel but Liam appears in only the first one.

The film is about Dr. Peyton Westlake who works on a project to help burn victims with artificial skin. That skin is photosensitive and only stable for 99 minutes. While he is experimenting with the skin, the bad guys backed by a corrupt mafia boss come to take classified documents from Dr. Westlake who has no idea of them. Only his girlfriend, an attorney at law, knows about them. The bad guys torture Liam, disfigure his face and leave him to die. But Dr. Westlake survives and that’s how Darkman is born.

Darkman is a great example of a 1990s action movie that stars Liam Neeson. The movie follows the story of Peyton Westlake, a scientist who is left disfigured and seeking revenge. He uses a special suit that masks his identity to get his revenge. The movie has a thrilling plot, great action sequences, and a unique anti-hero in Peyton Westlake. The movie is a great introduction to the action genre for those who haven’t seen it before, and it’s an entertaining watch for those who have.

Schindler’s List

Schindler’s List is a powerful and emotionally charged film that highlights the horrors of the Holocaust. The film brings to life the personal stories of many of the people that Schindler helped, and the film’s portrayal of the Holocaust is both accurate and poignant. Liam Neeson’s performance as Schindler is heartbreakingly passionate, while Ben Kingsley’s performance as Itzhak Stern is heartbreakingly subtle. The film’s black-and-white cinematography further emphasizes the film’s themes of darkness and despair.

Overall, Schindler’s List is an incredibly powerful film that is a must-see for all viewers. The film is an emotional and heartbreaking experience, but it is one that will stay with viewers long after they have finished watching. The film is a testament to Spielberg’s talent as a filmmaker and to Liam Neeson and Ben Kingsley’s acting talents.

The film shows Oskar Schindler has a change of heart even with his close Nazi ties and how he helps in saving hundreds of lives. Unlike most of his films, this one does not show Liam’s actions. The protagonist has a depth of character, polite dialogue delivery, and expressions that deliver the true sense of cinema. Liam fan or not, this film is worth watching for everyone.
